FAS OPENED A CASE AGAINST CRIMEA COMPANIES SUPPLYING OIL PRODUCTS BY RETAIL
Ten companies – “RUANT” Ltd., “Consonance” Ltd., “TES” Ltd., “Kedr” Ltd., “Broker Alliance of Independent Traders” Ltd.,“Darts” Ltd.,“Karat” Fuel Company” Ltd., “Product-Invest” Ltd., “KD-oil” Ltd. and “Synergy Oil Group” Ltd. - are suspected of breaching the antimonopoly law
A survey of the state of the competitive environment on the markets of retail sales of motor petrol and diesel fuel in the Republic of Crimea showed that oil products are resold between companies several times before delivered to the fueling stations.
The resale chain has signs of concerted actions between economic entities that lead to restricting competition on the oil products market of the Republic of Crimea as well as awareness of each of the chain participants on the intention of other entities to act in a particular manner.
As a result of the agreements, the companies are able to impact the conditions of goods turnover on the market, for example, exercise significant influence upon retail sale price.
All this constitutes the grounds for opening the antimonopoly case upon signs of violating Part 4 Article 11 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”.
