DANIIL FESYUK: WE WILL BRING THE BEST PRACTICES TO THE TAMBOV REGION AND THE BEST IDEAS THAT ARE ALREADY IN USE IN THE REGIONS OF RUSSIA

It will generate a synergy effect in Tambov

On 17 July 2018 Deputy Head of FAS Daniil Fesyuk had a meeting with First Deputy Head of Tambov Regional Authority, Alexander Ganov.

The parties emphasized that the Tambov region has all opportunities to successfully implement the National Competition Development Plan: all main requirements of the Competition Development Standard have been fulfilled in the region. Tambov rose from the 34 place in 2015 to the 19 place in 2016 in the ranking of the Analytical Centre at the Government of the Russian Federation for Competition Support.

‘We will bring the best practices and ideas to the region that are already in use in other regions of Russia. It will enable the synergy effect in Tambov”, said Daniil Fesyuk.

The parties signed an Agreement on Cooperation between FAS and the Regional Government. Tambov is devising a Road Map for competition development that will comprise 33 markets form the general list. The region has already reached 100 % target on 10 of the key indicators.

“The Tambov region has been working on implementing the Competition Development Standard since 2015. There are already some positive results. In the ranking for the number of reached targets Tambov is among the top 10 best regions”, reported First Vice-Governor Alexander Ganov.
