The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) closed acceptance of works for 2018 - 2019 “Point of Growth” Essay Contest for BA and MA students. The Contest Commission is about to start evaluating the works and awarding winners by the nominations

The “Point of Growth” Essay Contest is organized for the forth time. In 2019 – FAS 15th anniversary – there is a record number of participants. The Contest takes place from 1 November 2018 to 1 April 2019. The goal is to enable BA and MA students to assert their civic stand, immerse in modern antimonopoly regulation, and try to find unorthodox solutions to important issues or simply outline their thoughts in a small work – an essay.  The Contest is designed to attract students’ attention to competition law and understanding of the need to develop and protect competitive environment in order to form conditions for economic development.

This year, more than 600 works on 10 sections were submitted for the Contest. The sections were widely discussed on FAS official web-site with the community and the most interested themes, in view of the youth, were proposed for essays.

In accord with the Contest Regulations, each participant receives an electronic Certificate, and lecturers and universities, from where students submitted more than 10 works for the Contest will be given FAS Letters of Acknowledgement.

FAS awards the winners and runners-up Diplomas, memorable prizes; all of them will have a change for internship with FAS and its regional Offices.
