FAS APPROVED THE INVESTMENT TARIFF FOR MOSCOW CENTRAL RING

The tariffs are used for internal settlements and do not affect the public transport fare for passengers in Moscow

 

FAS Board approved the investment tariff for railway infrastructure services to transport passengers within the Moscow Central Ring.

 

More than 130 million passengers use Moscow Central Ring (MCR) infrastructure, which is a part of Moscow public transport system.

 

The tariff – 144.76 RUB per 1 wagon-km of transport work on Moscow Central Ring, with 4-minute train intervals in the peak hours will provide the source of properly maintaining and renovating rail tracks and halt platforms. The costs - 6 billion RUB annually will be used exclusively for this project and will not be financed through commuter passenger transportation in other regions of freight traffic

 

The tariff parameters are coordinated with the Russian Railways” and Moscow Government.

 

The tariffs are used for inner settlements for the services of “Russian Railways” and do not affect the costs of passenger travel by public transport in Moscow.
