FAS AND “ATS” JSC SIGNED AN AGREEMENT ON ELECTRONIC INFORMATION EXCHANGE
Information will be exchanged for the purposes of strengthening cooperation to improve performance of the wholesale energy market
On 15 October 2019, Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service, Igor Artemiev and Board Chairman of “Trading System Administrator of the Wholesale Energy Market” JSC (“ATS”), Maxim Bystrov signed an Agreement for electronic information interaction on performance of the wholesale market of electric power and capacity.
All materials shall be forwarded by the parties in the electronic form with enhanced encrypted and certified digital signature.
“FAS Information Technology Centre” is responsible for solving software-hardware and technological issues of electronic information exchange on the part of FAS.
Under the Agreement, “ATS” JSC submits to FAS data from the Register of wholesale market participants and data on assigning/withdrawing the status of a wholesale market participant, depriving a participant of the right to take part in trading with electric power (capacity) on the wholesale market.
FAS, in its turn, sends consolidated forecast balance of electric power generation and supply within the Unified Energy System of Russia, and other data.
According to Igor Artemiev, the Agreement will strengthen the parties’ collaboration on improving performance of the wholesale market of electric power and capacity.
The National Workshop on Tariff Regulation in 2019 and the goals of regulators for 2020 takes place on 15 - 17 October in the Republic of Crimea. The event participants are discussing tariff regulation of the telecommunications sector, gas supply, heating supply and solid municipal waste treatment.
