As a result of the warning issued by the FAS Russia, information that the product is adapted to the requirements of the EAEU will appear on packages of Persil powder

Earlier, Henkel complied with the FAS Russia's warning regarding Persil washing powder (3 kg). Now information that products are adapted to the quality and safety requirements of the EAEU will be placed on the packages of the entire product range: the company has also submitted to the Authority a packaging design for Persil capsules for washing machines.

Thus, the company Henkel has fully complied with the warning of the Federal Antimonopoly Service.

“We are satisfied with the constructive cooperation with Henkel and appreciate its readiness to meet the requirements of the Authority. At the same time, later the FAS Russia plans to monitor consumers' perception of the information placed on products package,” commented Andrey Kashevarov, Deputy Head of the FAS Russia.

It should be reminded that in December 2019, the Federal Antimonopoly Service issued warnings to Henkel Rus LLC and other companies about the admissibility of violation of the Law on Protection of Competition. As it was established by the FAS Russia, international manufacturers supply to the territory of the Russian Federation or produce in the Russian Federation under similar brand and purpose goods that differ in consumer properties and conditions of use from goods sold under the same brands in Western Europe.
