NEW STAKEHOLDERS ARE INVOLVED IN THE CONSIDERATION OF THE YANDEX SEARCH RESULTS CASE
The company abuses of dominant position in the Internet search market and provides preferential conditions to its own services
On June 9, 2021, during the meeting in the case, the applicants confirmed the arguments set out in the statements, illustrating that so far Yandex’s practices have not changed.
Yandex did not provide information on the proposed and discussed conditions for providing clear answers. The applicants also expressed their position on the discussion of the published principles of access to Yandex opportunities, noting that they are not market-based and fair.
Besides, the FAS Russia continues to receive applications about the presence of signs of abuse of dominant position in the search market in the actions of Yandex LLC. Thus, the FAS Russia Commission made a decision to involve KLIN.RU LLC and Interactive Learning Technologies LLC to participate in the case as interested parties.
The next meeting in the case will be held on July 21 due to the need to obtain materials and additional evidence.
