THE COURT CONFIRMED THE LEGALITY OF THE FAS FINES AGAINST YUZHURALMOST JSC IN THE AMOUNT OF MORE THAN 480 MILLION RUBLES

The company must pay the fines for the conclusion of two anti-competitive agreements

It should be reminded that in March 2019 the FAS Russia recognized the organization as violating the Law on Protection of Competition*. The result of such actions of the company was the restriction of competition in the market of construction, reconstruction and repair of auto roads in the Chelyabinsk region.

Anti-competitive agreements were implemented at 10 auctions totaling almost 2.4 billion rubles. Yuzhuralmost became the winner in all procurement actions, while the decrease in the contract price was no more than 1.5%.

The FAS Russia imposed two fines on the company for violation of antimonopoly legislation totaling 484,328,323 rubles, the legality of the appointment of which was confirmed by the Moscow Arbitration Court.

It should be noted that earlier the court of cassation also confirmed the legality of the decision of the Authority in the case of violation of the antimonopoly legislation by Yuzhuralmost.
