FAS HAS REVEALED SIGNS OF UNFAIR COMPETITION IN THE ACTIONS OF AUTOBAM SERVICE

The company claimed the superiority of its tires over competitors' products without objective confirmation of this information

The company has publicly used the word "best" without specifying the objective confirmation of the specific criterion by which the comparison was carried out*. These words were present in domain names, on the official website, signs at points of sale and related facilities, in printed advertising products and other forms of advertising.

The Autobam Service company explained the public use of the word "best" by the implementation of tires of world brands from the best manufacturers. Meanwhile, according to FAS Russia, this fact is not the proof of the validity of their use. Tires sold by the company cannot be considered the best in comparison with similar tires sold by competitors, without specifying a specific criterion that has objective confirmation by which the comparison was carried out.

FAS Russia has issued a warning to Avtobam Service LLC about the termination of actions containing signs of the violation of antimonopoly legislation. The Company must take measures to eliminate the consequences of such a violation within 30 days.
