FAS: THE NUMBER OF AGREED ACTS ON ANTIMONOPOLY COMPLIANCE HAS DOUBLED OVER THE PAST THREE YEARS

18-08-2023 | 15:00

In 2020, the share of documents approved by the Authority was 25%, and in 2022-2023 it increased to 55%

This is due to the adopted explanation of FAS Russia of July 2, 2021 No. 20 "On the system of internal compliance with the requirements of antimonopoly legislation".

Owing to the document, business entities were able to improve the quality of preparation of acts on antimonopoly compliance. As a result, the antimonopoly authority has begun to agree on more such acts due to the fact that they meet all legal requirements.

The organization of the antimonopoly compliance system is the right of any business entity. Companies, that have already implemented a compliance system, reduce the risk of violation of antimonopoly legislation.

For 2022-2023, FAS Russia issued positive conclusions on acts of antimonopoly compliance with respect to such companies as Lukoil Group, ALROSA (PJSC), Baltika Breweries LLC, MVM LLC (part of the M.Video-Eldorado Group), Federal State Unitary Enterprise Federal Environmental Operator, Kazan Energy Company LLC, St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
