REGIONAL OFFICES OF FAS INITIATED CASES AGAINST LUKOIL`S SUBSIDIARIES

The authority continues to monitor the fuel pricing situation

The regional offices of FAS Russia have revealed increases in prices for AI-92 and AI-95 of the petrol station of the group of persons of LUKOIL PJS, located in the Nizhny Novgorod region and the Perm region.

The price increased during the period of low wholesale (exchange) prices of gasoline.

In this regards, Nizhny Novgorod regional office of FAS Russia and Perm regional office of FAS Russia initiated cases against LUKOIL-Centrnefteproduct LLC and LUKOIL-Uralnefteproduct LLC.

As part of the investigations, the actions of the organizations will be evaluated. If a violation of the Law on Protection of Competition is established, companies may be ordered to pay an administrative fine or could be issued a remedy to transfer the proceeds of unlawful acts to the federal budget.
