In the credit card advertisement, the bank indicated attractive information that did not correspond to reality

Earlier, the Authority received an appeal from the Bank of Russia about the signs of a violation in the advertising of a credit card of Rosbank PJSC. The materials were posted on the Telegram channel.

The advertisement provided attractive information for consumers about the grace period: "Pleasant purchases and no %. 120 days on a credit card for purchases and cash. " However, the terms of use of the credit card contained limits on the amount for free purchases and transfers.

Thus, consumers received incomplete information about all the conditions for making transfers and payments that determine their cost.

The Authority initiated a case against Rosbank on the grounds of the violation of the Law on Advertising.* In case of a violation, the bank will be brought to administratively responsibility in accordance with the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
