FAS INITIATED A CASE AGAINST NOVOROSSIYSK COMMERCIAL SEA PORT PJSC
The FAS Russia found signs of violation of antimonopoly legislation in setting tariffs for ferrous metal transshipment services
NCSP PJSC is engaged in the transshipment of ferrous metals and holds a dominant position in this market in the seaport of Novorossiysk.
The Service found that in 2023, tariffs for ferrous metals transshipment services in the port under direct option* for certain cargoes increased to 50%, with intra-port transportation up to 37%.
The FAS Russia initiated an antimonopoly case against the Novorossiysk Seaport**. If organization is found guilty, it faces a fine in accordance with the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation.
