The funds have already been transferred to the budget of the Russian Federation

In 2022, the FAS Russia recognized the organization as having violated the Law on Protection of Competition. The company was part of a group of persons occupying a dominant position together with a number of other manufacturers. This group of persons set a monopolistically high price for sheet glass in 2021-2022.

The analysis of the FAS Russia showed that the price of sheet glass increased by more than 80% with a slight change in cost. At the same time, the FAS Russia did not identify any other economically justified growth factors during the consideration of antimonopoly cases.

The FAS Russia issued an order to the group of companies aimed at ensuring competition. In addition, as part of the administrative proceedings, a fine of 190,269,673 rubles was imposed on Salavatsteklo JSC. The legality of the Service's decision and the imposed fine was supported by the courts of three instances.

It should be noted that even before the court rulings on the acts of the FAS Russia, in pursuance of the order, the companies developed draft trade and sales policies aimed at increasing transparency of pricing and interaction with counterparties.
