On 20 February 2016, Moscow Arbitration Court upheld a determination on imposing a fine upon “Moscow State University of Railway Engineering” (MIIT) Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education. MIIT is held administratively liable for violating the antimonopoly law and fined 5.75 million RUB.

The 9th Arbitration Appeal Court dismissed a claim of the “Federal Centre for Pricing in Construction and Construction Materials Industry” Federal Autonomous Institution (“FTsTsS”) to suspend a decision and determination issued by the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia).

The Arbitration Court of the Far East District upheld the rulings of the Courts of First Instance and Appeal Courts and confirmed administrative fines imposed upon “Aquaresource-DV” Ltd. and “Taifun” Ltd. as cartel members. Earlier, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) established that damages to the state caused by the cartel reached more than 72 million RUB.

Moscow Arbitration Court pronounced legitimacy and reasonableness of the decision of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) on a case against “Medkon” Ltd., “Sibagropromstroi” Shareholding Company, “UNIX” Medical Company” Ltd., “Monolitstroi” Ltd. and fully supported the arguments and submissions from the antimonopoly authority.

In 2016 the Gaidar Forum had a session on antimonopoly law. For the first time the largest national economic event discussed specialized legal issues.
