FAS found that “Lenta” Ltd. Violated the Law on Trade
On 22 June 2016 the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) found that “Lenta” Ltd. Violated Claus 1 Part 1 Article 13 of the Law on Trade (creation of discriminatory conditions).
According to FAS, the retail chain charged suppliers of wine alcohol products a different fee for similar services on publishing information about the goods in the “Lenta tovarov” catalogues” and the services for placing the goods on special equipment in retail facility where the goods were not sold earlier. It created discriminatory conditions for particular suppliers of alcohol products.
To support competition, FAS Commission issued a determination to the company to eliminate the exposed violations.
