FAS proposes to discuss the pricing policy of “Bashkhim” Trading House” Ltd.
The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) published on its official web-site the Pricing policy of “Bashkhim” Trading House” Ltd.for selling calcinated soda.
The Policy is drafted to set non-discriminatory and transparent conditions for selling calcinated soda by “Bashkhim” Trading House” Ltd. It establishes, in particular, the formula that determines the basic level of prices for calcinated soda that the company supplies to the domestic market.
The basic price level for calcinated soda is determined using, in particular, the coefficient of average quarter quotation FOB Black Sea Bulk for heavy and light calcinated soda, published in annual ICIS price report.
The Policy also contains the rules for giving discounts, the size of which are affected by long-term cooperation, the sample volume over a period, payment conditions. The Policy provides for disciplinary penalties for improper execution of the contract conditions by counteragents, which leads to reduction discounts. The maximum monthly discount for calcinated soda can be up to 12%.
To observe non-discriminatory conditions for all buyers of calcinated soda, the Policy is added qualifying requirements to counteragents intended to conclude supply contracts.
The interested persons can submit information to the antimonopoly body on the impact of the Policy on the state of competition on the relevant market. The comments and proposals with regard to the Policy is accepted until 5th September 2016 (within ten days after the document was published).
FAS shall accept the proposals and opinions from the interested persons only if the name of an organization, its registration address are specified as well as the contact details of a representatives with whom FAS staff may communicate should it be necessary.
