FAS opened a case against “Khimprom” PJSC

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) opened a case against “Khimprom” PJSC (Novocheboksarsk) upon signs of violating the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”.

FAS suspects that the company abused its dominance on the market of raw materials for the elements of individual human protection by fixing monopolistically high price for the goods in 2016.

“Khimprom” PJSC is a national chemical enterprise specializing in basic chemicals. The company produces more than 100 items and brands of products.

In 2013, FAS already investigated a case against “Khimprom” upon elements of violating the antimonopoly law on the same market. As a result, “Khimprom” was fined.
