Unlawful coordination of economic activity resulted in 2.5 million RUB fine
Appeal Court confirmed legitimacy of the fine imposed by FAS upon “Ford Sollers Holding” LLC
The case was transferred to the Central FAS Office from the Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Republic of Tatarstan, which carried out a scheduled inspection of official “Ford” dealers operating in Tatarstan. The antimonopoly body opened the case based on the inspection outcome.
Investigating the case, the FAS Commission established that the company had sent informational letters to the dealers on the costs of technical support of “Ford” cars, which had led to fixing and maintaining prices for technical support of “Ford” cars.
“The company was fined 2.5 million RUB for such violation of the antimonopoly law”, reported Head of FAS Legal Department Artem Molchanov.
“Ford Sollers Holding” LLC appealed the fine; however, the Court of First Instance and the Appeal Court confirmed the rightness of FAS actions.
