Moscow Health Care Department executed FAS warning
Moscow authority eliminated signs of breaching competition on the market of laboratory studies within the mandatory medical insurance system
Moscow Health Care Department notified the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) on executing a warning to stop actions (omissions) that have signs of violating the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” (Clauses 3, 4, 5, 8 Part 1 Article 15).
Earlier the Antimonopoly Service revealed signs of violating the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” by Moscow Health Care Department on the market of laboratory studies within the mandatory medical insurance system in Moscow, which formed the grounds for issuing the warning.
Moscow Health Care Department created conditions when private medical organizations offering medical services on the market of laboratory studies, did not have a possibility to offer the relevant services to the medical institutions subordinate to Moscow Health Care Department using the mandatory medical insurance funds.
“We are grateful to Moscow Health Care Department for abolishing anticompetitive legal acts and preventing competition restrictions on the market of laboratory studies within the mandatory medical insurance system”, emphasized Head of FAS Department for Control over Social Sphere and Trade, Timophey Nizhegorodtsev.
