Andrey Tsyganov about talks with a Brazilian delegation: “The 10th anniversary of our efficient cooperation is getting closer”

During a visit of the FAS delegation to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris, Deputy Head of Deputy Head of FAS Andrey Tsyganov held talks with Paulo Burnie da Silveira, Commissioner of Brazil Competition Authority.  

The parties discussed the agenda of the forthcoming V BRICS Competition Conference in Brazil in November 2017, which will start a new decade of cooperation between the antimonopoly bodies of Brazil, India, China and South Africa. Andrey Tsyganov and Paulo Burnie da Silveiraalso clarified the status of drafting a Programme of Cooperation between FAS Russia and the Administrative Council on Economic Security at the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil for 2018-2019. 

Finally, Andrey Tsyganov invited representatives of Brazil competition regulator to take part in the Competition Week in Russia on 18-20 September 2017 in Veliky Novgorod.
