FAS: 354.8 MILLION RUBLES OF UNJUSTIFIED FUNDS WERE EXCLUDED FROM ELECTRICITY TARIFFS IN THE LIPETSK REGION FOR 4 YEARS

In the period from 2021 to 2023, the Department of Energy and Tariffs of the region was excluding 118 million rubles annually from the required gross revenue of Lipetskenergo PJSC of MRSK Centre, as well 724.9 thousand rubles in 2020
Thus, the regulator fulfilled the remedy of FAS Russia, issued according to the results of a scheduled inspection of the regulatory authority in 2019. That’s when the antimonopoly service revealed violations in setting electricity tariffs for MRSK Centre – Lipetskenergo PJSC.
The tariff authority unlawfully included 354.8 million rubles in the company’s NGP for 2017-2019. The regulator had been issued a remedy to exclude unreasonable expenses from tariffs, which was fully implemented.
