FAS RUSSIA OFFERS DOMINANT COMPANIES TO SELL AT LEAST 5% OF FITTINGS ON STOCK EXCHANGE

The draft of the relevant joint order* is sent for interdepartmental coordination to the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation

In addition, the draft order proposes to establish requirements for exchange trading in the course of which transactions with fittings are concluded. In particular, it is planned to determine which transactions will be taken into account when determining whether the volume of rebar sold on the exchange complies with the minimum value, as well as when setting the starting price on the exchange.

The development of exchange trading will allow to create an economically justified indicator of fittings cost and provide an additional sales channel. It will also contribute to the formation of common conditions for concluding transactions for all participants of fitting market.
