On 21 June 2016, the Methodological Council on Tariff Regulation focused on pricing for the providers of last resort on energy supplying services. Around 170 representatives of energy companies, interested bodies and experts took part in the discussions.

The statement was made by Deputy Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) Anatoly Golomolzin at a field meeting of the Working Group of FAS Expert Council on Developing Competition on Gas Markets on 4 February 2015 in Tyumen.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) informed holders of natural monopolies providing gas transportation services via the main gas pipelines - branches that they must submit the following information to FAS to clarify economically justified tariff revenue necessary to compensate the costs of gas transportation via the main pipelines:
